Is there a charge for an estimate?

Absolutely NOT! Our estimates are provided free of charge. However, we hope we'll wow you with your service and we'll have your business for life.

Do you work weekends?

Typically we do not. Family is important to us and we try to give workers weekends off to spend with their family.

Do we accept credit cards?

YES, we have just added the acceptance of Visa, MasterCard and Discover as payment options. Feel free to use any of these cards and earn points and rewards on the current credit card you own.

Is our work warranted?

Yes, our workmanship is warranted for one year. Material and appliance warranties are per the manufacturer. We do our best to satisfy our customers and we want you happy with your enhancements.

Are we insured?

Yes, MarTek is and always has been fully insured and bonded.

How long will an estimate take?

Sometimes estimates are available the same day but more commonly, the next business day.

Can I be selective when choosing items from the estimate?

Yes, but keep in mind that selection of one or two items from a long list may result in a price increase for those items. Estimates are given on the basis of a entire job. You will want to make sure there is communication of price variance if items are added or deleted from the estimate.

Once I approve of an estimate, when will the work start?

Work is normally scheduled on a first come basis but we will do our best to accomodate your needs. You will be contacted in advance to schedule the work and set times.

In addition, if there is any change in schedule, we will contact you. At times weather necessitates that painting be rescheduled or postponed if it is humid or raining. The same is true for outside jobs.

As always, we do our best to fit the needs of our clients.

Are your workers on time to their appointments?

Yes, we fully understand your time is precious. Our workers depart the shop shortly after 8:15 AM. Their arrival at the work site will depend on travel distance and traffic conditions. This will be communicated when establishing the schedule.

Do we provide estimates in the evening or on week-ends?

Unfortunately we do not. Our hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.; however, we do estimates 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. If you have unusual circumstances please let us know and we'll do what we can to work with your schedule.
